What
we do is help families, who own and manage businesses,
improve working together as a team to meet long-term
goals of business succession and family sustainability.
We facilitate discussions and set up governance
structures such as Family Business Councils, and Family
Protocols where family members can dialogue and solve
problems together.
We train and coach individuals and families, both
individually and within various settings i.e. mixed
generational and singular generation meetings, on how to
improve their business and family functioning. We often
train family members in Stress Management, Emotional
Intelligence, Communication and Conflict Resolution
skills. We design and implement Governance Structures
for the family and the business including family
councils, family offices, family protocols and boards of
directors. We design and implement conflict resolution
processes for family shareholders. |

The
ability to communicate and solve problems well often
helps the family deal with the very difficult issues of
succession well. The goal most often is to increase
business success, the health of the family and the
health of each individual.
We help the older and younger generation to preserve the
family's legacy and values. By bringing the knowledge of
Organization Development, Change Management and Family
Therapy to the business family we can assist the
leadership of the family and the business to develop the
most appropriate succession, governance and
organizational structures. Our goal is to promote both
business and family health as well as wealth.

We
work with the family and often their advisors such as
attorneys, accountants, investment bankers, estate
planners and others to facilitate the family's goals.
In short, our objectives are to:
-- Develop a family culture and governance structure
that will sustain family harmony between siblings and
cousins and promote business success.
-- Effectively transfer business leadership from one
generation to the next.
-- To increase communication, trust and between family
members.
-- Create mechanisms that effectively resolve conflicts
between family members.
-- Create a Shared Vision across Generations for the
Family and the Business
-- Reduce family outbursts in business decision-making.
